Immer wieder interessiert sich die Regisseurin Angela Schanelec in ihren Filmen für Räume: öffentliche Orte tauchen darin ebenso auf wie private Räume des Rückzugs. In ihrem jüngsten Film ORLY erzählt sie vier Geschichten, die sich an einem Flughafen abspielen. Mit uns hat Angela Schanelec über die Bedeutung von Räumen in ihren Filmen und das Verhältnis zwischen Kino und Architektur gesprochen.

Spaces are of recurring interest to the director Angela Schanelec: public spaces as well as private rooms to retreat. In her latest film ORLY, Schanelec is telling four stories revolving around an airport. She talked with us about the importances of spaces in her films and about the relation between cinema and architecture.
