Dr. Marco Abel
is an Associate Professor of English and Film at the University of Nebraska. His first book, Violent Affect: Literature, Cinema, and Critique after Representation appeared in 2007 with the University of Nebraska Press. He is currently writing his second book, The Berlin School: Toward a Minor Cinema, which is under contract with Camden House Press. Some of his recent writings on contemporary German cinema have appeared in New German Critique, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Cineaste and Senses of Cinema.
